Update on emergency feeding programme

We recently received an update and photos from Friends of Monze, about the emergency feeding programme.

The project has helped 30 of the most vulnerable children in the area affected by the recent drought. 

This mother has said that she believed that her child may not have lived if the feeding programme had not started that week. She is very happy with the Friday Food packs (food packs for the week ahead) of mealie–meal and groundnuts from which she cooks porridge for her child each day. Her daughter has already gained a lot of weight and sufficient strength to sit up and play around.
