Namununga School visit 2024

After and hour and a half of off road driving through the bush we arrived at Namununga school which was a delight to see. The staff and whole village community welcomed us and were thrilled to show us around their refurbished classrooms, new teachers' houses, bore hole, solar pump and enclosed school garden -all funded by MAD4Kids' supporters. We were pleased to see corn and vegetables being grown to supplement the nshima fed to the children each day. We were able to buy and give to the school period pads made locally together with £500 worth of text books chosen by the teachers. This will make a massive difference to the education of the children.
